I was 8 yrs old when this raid happened April 18,1942.Sixteen U.S. Army Air Forces B-25B Mitchell medium bombers were launched from the U.S. Navy's aircraft carrier USS Hornet deep in the Western Pacific Ocean.Seems like yesterday funny how time slips away
Very good, Ted. I knew the true story about that raid and it was a very brave and awsome attempt at something most people at the time thought was impossible to do. Thanks for sharing.
